A cesarean section involves delivering the baby through an incision made in the abdomen. This method is employed when vaginal delivery is not feasible due to obstetric or medical reasons.
At our center, we prioritize enhanced recovery following a C-section procedure. To facilitate early recuperation, we adhere to specific protocols. These include promoting early mobilization, allowing oral intake within 4-6 hours after the surgery, minimizing the use of antibiotics, and transitioning from injectable medications to oral ones at the earliest opportunity. Typically, patients are discharged on the third day after the surgery, provided they can independently perform their daily activities.
Our focus is on ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients who undergo a cesarean section, promoting their well-being and enabling them to resume their routine activities as soon as possible.
